Our fabulous Board member and photographer has an eye for all things glamorous! Suzanne Barton has been a professional photographer in the Ft. Lauderdale area since 1985. She shoots for many charities including:
AJC Children's Foundation - orphanage that supports abused, neglected and abandoned children in Honduras – she serves on the Board and travels to Honduras annually.
Heart Gallery - helping kids in the foster care system find forever homes through professional images of the children
Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep - a national foundation that provides Professional Rememberance Photography for families suffering the loss of a child.
Humane Society of Broward County- Suzanne spear-headed, produced and designed a calendar of pet images that raised $25,000 entirely through her efforts.
Some of the other charities that Suzanne is involved in are Gilda's Club, Children’s Diagnostic Center, and for three glorious years Suzanne has taken world-class photos for Glam-A-THON™ and joined the Glam Board in 2013 to help take our breast cancer fundraising efforts to new heights!
Busy bee is an understatement for Ms. Emely Cuadrado as she lives by the motto "The more the merrier"
She is the Public Relations & Marketing Manager at Memorial West Hospital for a Multi-Specialty group. She is also the founder and operations manager of Esella, a creative marketing firm based in South Florida representing luxury brands. Prior to joining Memorial West, she worked at a consulting firm specializing in marketing and advertising for global Fortune 500 clients.
Amongst her ambitious endeavors she has devoted her free time to philanthropic activism.
She is a strong believer that success is not based on wealth but how we take our experiences to give back to those in need, addressing issues publicly, and implementing changes to change lives indefinitely.
Emely’s future aspiration is to open her own non-profit foundation assisting and counseling impoverished women and teens while targeting women rights. She is involved in various non-profit organizations such as Make-A-Wish Foundation, Emerge Broward, Share-A-Pet, Cerebral Palsy of South Florida and Covenant House.
Emely holds a degree from Florida Atlantic University with a concentration in Journalism and Marketing.
Kara Freedman is a South Florida-based marketing and public relations professional with an impressive background in the travel, tourism and hospitality industries.
She is currently the marketing manager for the brand new Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach and well-known Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort, where she oversees all internal and external communication. Prior to joining Hilton, Freedman served as the PR and marketing coordinator at Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach, where she executed the resort's communications plan. Freedman started her career on the agency side, serving as a senior account executive at Steinreich Communications, a global PR firm, and as an Account Executive at Hemsworth Communications, a Fort Lauderdale based PR agency.
Freedman has a true passion for travel and exploration, and has successfully visited at least one new country for the past six consecutive years. She also works with the National Hockey League, taking photos for social media at every Florida Panthers home game. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and contributing to the Fort Lauderdale community.
Freedman originally hails form New York, and received her Bachelor of Science in business marketing from the University at Buffalo. She also achieved her hospitality marketing certificate from Cornell University.
Winterfest, Inc. Marketing and Parade Director
Kathy came to Winterfest as Event and Marketing Director for the Pompano Beach Chamber of Commerce with a background in events ranging from Fine Food & Wine, Golf Tournaments to Parades. She brings to the team experience in advertising, marketing and public relations working with a variety of media from television, radio, print and the internet. As Marketing and Parade Director, she promotes and coordinates the logistics of the World’s Most Watched Boat Parade and other Winterfest celebrations such as Winterfest’s White Party, Black Tie Ball, Grand Marshal Reception, Captain’s Cup and Volunteer Parties. Her position has her working with sponsors from presentations, development of contracts to fulfillment. As parade director, she is involved with all logistics of the parade from staging, communications, permits, solicitation of parade participants to working agencies such as the Marine units of the Broward Sheriff Office and Fort Lauderdale Police Department, United States Coast Guard, Florida Fish and Wildlife. Along with her career, Kathy is a single mother of three boys and is actively involved in community events such as the team captain of Sole Sisters which has raised over $150,000 for Glam-A-Thon in Fort Lauderdale and Broward Health; St. Coleman Italian Festival in Pompano Beach; St. Patrick’s Parade and Festival in Fort Lauderdale, Pompano Beach Seafood Festival as well as other fundraising events for her children’s school and travel teams.

Bonnie Scerbo is a sassy sole sister who found her home at Glam-A-THON™. A graduate of Florida Atlantic University with a Marketing degree, Bonnie never thought she would use her education until she found her love for Events and Event Planning. Connecting with individuals face to face -- not just being the life of the party but making the party happen!
Bonnie has had a long career in the marketing arena, but is currently the National Marketing Manager for Forever Health, a network connecting patients and doctors who specialize in alternative and integrative medicine. Feeling connected and helping others is a key part of Bonnie’s personal and professional life.
When it comes to a mind and body in constant motion, Debby Thomas fits the bill. Debby's not ready to slow down her active lifestyle anytime soon! As an entrepreneur running two businesses, her goal is to one day exclusively engage in philanthropic activities. In 2016 Debby was honored as one of 100 Outstanding Women of Broward County by the Boys & Girls Club . She is a Certified Health & Life Coach /Personal Trainer and owner of Decide To Be Well, specializing in Geriatrics and Mentally Challenged Adults for over 25 years. Debby is also owner and Independent Consultant of Wellskin,Inc. partnering with Rodan + Fields.
As a passionate philanthropist, she has devoted her time for the past 15 years to supporting and fund raising for the annual Toys in the Sun Run/ VIP Harley Owners Group, as an organizer and volunteer, benefiting Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital.
Debby is also heavily involved as a fundraiser and annual walk team builder for NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness), a 12 year supporter and volunteer for JARC (Jewish Association for Residential Care),
Annual Supporter of Not My Daughter, Alzheimer's Family Center, A Spring of Hope, SOS Children's Village, and numerous other charities. As Debby would say, "I'm addicted to the feeling and energy of giving back and helping others ..... there is no better high!! "
Happily married with two adult children and two grandchildren . "I'm a creature of habit and very disciplined ... up at 4:15am to get to the gym and start my day! I know that a healthy body and mind will allow me to accomplish everything that needs to get done ....especially because there are so many others that just can't do for themselves ... and truly need our help!"
