Meet Tammy Gail, President
and CEO of Glam-A-THON.
The Glam-A-THON™ event series is the high heeled creation of head-diva, Tammy Gail, launched in 2006. After being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2004, Tammy underwent a series of treatments, surgeries and life altering experiences. As a young breast cancer patient she was raising a child, running a successful business, and was about to face some very difficult decisions in the coming months during her course of treatment. After vowing that cancer was not going to rob her and her family of their future together, she kicked it into high gear. Cancer-free for the past nine years, Tammy and her PHENOMENAL Glam Board have been moving & shaking to create a sassy, funky, and outrageous event series that gets bigger and better every year. It is all about fabulous people doing fabulous fundraising in the name of breast cancer. She proudly announces that Glam-A-THON™ is America’s premier fundraising ‘pageant’ where the crown can be bought! According to Tammy ‘it’s all about the swag, cupcake!’. She feels honored to be able to assist Broward Health Foundation and the patients of Broward Health systems. With the help of the South Florida community and corporate sponsors she pledges to make 2015 the biggest donation year yet! And as always she urges everyone to Stay Sassy!

Reigning from the sunshine island Jamaica, Orynthia has always loved South Florida for its tropical nature. Married with a beautiful toddler princess, she is also a CPA with over 12 years experience in accounting and auditing at one of the top CPA firms in South Florida. Like many others touched in some way by cancer, she was instantly drawn to the mission of Glam-A-THON™ in 2017. The thought of being able to touch someone’s life is so fulfilling and she would not trade that for the world. Currently, Orynthia serves on the Executive Board as the Treasurer of Glam-A-THON™. She enjoys singing, playing sports, learning the guitar and being a mom.

Judith is the urban babe with a flair for fashion and fabulosity! Born and raised in the East Village of N.Y.C., life doesn't get much cooler than that! Unless of course you attend one of the hottest art schools in Manhattan, Parsons School of Design.famous as the Project Runway School of Design. Judith worked in the NY garment district as a sportswear buyer and developed a flair for fashion and merchandising. She parlayed that experience in entrepreneurship and as a stay at home mom started a variety of businesses including Sweet Messages chocolate company, Designs by Judith wallpaper manufacturer, and La Petit Maison custom built and decorated doll houses. These cottage industries enabled Judith to raise her two sons after becoming a widow at a very early age. Judith moved to Florida to start a new life with her boys; re-opened Sweet Messages as a side line and went into party planning and catering at country clubs and night clubs. Judith is a veteran Glam Doll as she enters her sixth year with the Strut as a Glam Board member and the Chair of the fabulous Lipstick Lounge extravaganza. She was sadly touched by breast cancer when her Mom passed away from the disease. Supporting Glam-A-THON™ is Judith's tribute to her mother and Tl benefit from the incredible outreach the event series will fund.

Don’t let the love of fabulous shoes fool you, Traci is all about serious fundraising. Born in Forest Hills, New York, this non- profit veteran and CFRE( Certified Fundraising Executive) has been raising money for more than 25 years. After spending eight years as the South Florida Executive Director for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, in 2007 she joined Broward Health Foundation as the Director of Major Gifts and is now the Director of Foundation Operations. The incredible partnership between Glam-A-THON™ and Broward Health will serve and create awareness for so many. It will make a huge impact on the lives of local women battling breast cancer that are treated at both the Lillian S. Wells Women’s Health Center at Broward Health Medical Center and the Lisa Boccard Breast Cancer Fund at Broward Health Coral Springs. She does it all and still manages to strut in her stilettos. Traci’s love of shoes is just the icing on the cake! Glam-A-THON™ welcomes Traci Allyn Shur as a tremendous asset to the Executive Board.

When it comes to a mind and body in constant motion, Debby Thomas fits the bill. Debby's not ready to slow down her active lifestyle anytime soon! As an entrepreneur running two businesses, her goal is to one day exclusively engage in philanthropic activities. In 2016 Debby was honored as one of 100 Outstanding Women of Broward County by the Boys & Girls Club . She is a Certified Health & Life Coach /Personal Trainer and owner of Decide To Be Well, specializing in Geriatrics and Mentally Challenged Adults for over 25 years. Debby is also owner and Independent Consultant of Wellskin,Inc. partnering with Rodan + Fields.
As a passionate philanthropist, she has devoted her time for the past 15 years to supporting and fund raising for the annual Toys in the Sun Run/ VIP Harley Owners Group, as an organizer and volunteer, benefiting Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital.
Debby is also heavily involved as a fundraiser and annual walk team builder for NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness), a 12 year supporter and volunteer for JARC (Jewish Association for Residential Care),
Annual Supporter of Not My Daughter, Alzheimer's Family Center, A Spring of Hope, SOS Children's Village, and numerous other charities. As Debby would say, "I'm addicted to the feeling and energy of giving back and helping others ..... there is no better high!! "
Happily married with two adult children and two grandchildren . "I'm a creature of habit and very disciplined ... up at 4:15am to get to the gym and start my day! I know that a healthy body and mind will allow me to accomplish everything that needs to get done ....especially because there are so many others that just can't do for themselves ... and truly need our help!"

Irene Yovu’s busy schedule keeps her in perpetual motion, but she always finds time to support those in need. When she was introduced to Glam-A-THON™, she knew immediately that working with powerful women who are making a difference in the community, and doing it in high heels and lots of bling, resonated with her spirit of giving.
Irene earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn New York, and an Associate Degree in Hotel and Food Management from Paul Smith’s Jr. College, Paul Smiths, New York.
She consciously strives to treat others with kindness and grace, and spreads the gift of friendship easily and often. She relishes her involvement in Temple Adath Or in Davie, theater arts, spiritual growth,
healthy living, glamming it up, and can often be seen at the beach on weekends working on her golden tan while squeezing in a power walk.
After a successful 25 year career in sales & marketing in the grocery industry, Irene is enjoying her ultra-active retirement filled with friends, travel, philanthropy and her glamorous 7.5 lb Persian cat, Maggie.
