Meet Tammy Gail, President
and CEO of Glam-A-THON.
Joseph Damico was born in Pittsburgh Pa in 1942 where he had the luxury of parents that really supported his desire to become a Boxer. He lived in a neighborhood similar to the neighborhood in the movie The Bronx Tale, where he trained with Billy Kahn and Bruno Sanmartino who through Joe’s grandfather had this opportunity to win 5 Golden Gloves Championship’s. He also through his high school years sang backup to Georgie Benson. After graduating he received a degree in marketing which helped him get a job as a General Manager at a large Ford Dealership. He then at the age of 26 was drafted into the U.S Army where he learned how to fly H-1 Huey and Cobra Helicopters. He was deployed to Vietnam in November 1967 through April 1969 and was with the 1st Air Cavalry with whom he was with during the TET Offensive in February 1968 was wounded and received two Purple Hearts. After his discharge he returned into the automotive industry and when he had the opportunity to purchase a automotive dealership, Lipton Toyota. After then he became involved in many charitable organizations, Women in Distress, Diabetics Charity because a close Friend Michelle McGann a LPGA champion who has diabetes since the age of 5, and is a great friend.
After many years of Charity life he met his Fiancée Irene Yovu who was involved with Glam-A-Thon a Breast Cancer foundation where he has earned a Glammy Award in 2017 and Irene’s Glammy in 2018. We have decided to take on the Challenge and desire to become the first Glammy Couple . We both are already on the road of becoming Glammy recipients again. This Breast Cancer foundation has become a large part of our lives. Now that they both are retired have decided to do as much travel as possible, there vacations of Choice have been cruising with Celebrity. Now trough retirement have much more time to enjoy life. Fortunately are now able to do much more traveling. We are blessed.
Irene Yovu’s busy schedule keeps her in perpetual motion, but she always finds time to support those in need. When she was introduced to Glam-A-THON™, she knew immediately that working with powerful women who are making a difference in the community, and doing it in high heels and lots of bling, resonated with her spirit of giving.
Irene earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn New York, and an Associate Degree in Hotel and Food Management from Paul Smith’s Jr. College, Paul Smiths, New York.
She consciously strives to treat others with kindness and grace, and spreads the gift of friendship easily and often. She relishes her involvement in Temple Adath Or in Davie, theater arts, spiritual growth,
healthy living, glamming it up, and can often be seen at the beach on weekends working on her golden tan while squeezing in a power walk.
After a successful 25 year career in sales & marketing in the grocery industry, Irene is enjoying her ultra-active retirement filled with friends, travel, philanthropy and her glamorous 7.5 lb Persian cat, Maggie.
Born and raised in South Florida, Sara is the queen of marketing and networking. She graduated in Cum Laude with her bachelors degree in Business management and associates in Legal studies. She also has her real estate license and practices here in South Florida. Sara has a marketing company in the Personal Injury industry and works with doctors and lawyers throughout the state. She came on board to utilize her large network and resources to help us raise money for breast cancer patients and spread her gift of gab which she was blessed with.
Heather Bling founded The Bling Club in 2015. The Bling Club sells fashion jewelry at great prices and the pieces are guaranteed not to snag in your clothing or hair. Heather personally checks each piece to make sure! She has a boutique in downtown Fort Lauderdale as well as her online store, TheBlingClub.com.
Since she started the company, Heather has helped raise funds for over 30 charities. She's known for always saying "yes" when a charity calls on her for help.
Heather has been involved with Glam-A-Thon for 4 years helping multiple teams raise funds. Her company The Bling Club was awarded Small Business of The Year in 2019 by the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce. Heather's passions include her aerial fitness training, she is a total foodie, aspiring sommelier, and stiletto heel addict!
David Diaz,.born and raised in NEW YORK, knows a thing or two about the success that comes from combining an innovative business approach with an insistence on first-class customer service. As a Compass Real Estate Advisor affiliated with the Cuffia Team in Fort Lauderdale, David applies the skills he has earned over the course of his career, first spending many years with a major insurance company during their ascent to the top ranks of that industry, and for the past 14 years as a real estate professional. David has been recognized as a “Who’s Who” in his chosen occupation, and has a history of multi-million dollar total annual sales. You’ll be impressed by his confident approach, and put at ease by his disarming nature and welcoming smile. The accomplishments David has accumulated are all attributable to his ability to form close relationships. Helping people is David’s passion, listening closely to your needs, and thinking creatively to solve problems before they arise.
David is a New York native, and a graduate of Pace University with a bachelor’s degree in international marketing management. A South Florida resident for close to three decades, David has fully embraced his life in this thriving region, devoting ample time to local charities. He finds time to serve as a board member of Slow Burn Theatre, and supports HANDY, the Children’s Diagnostic and Treatment Center, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and more. When he was asked to be a Glammy honoree, he didnt hesitate to be a part of this great cause and organization.
What’s more, he shows his love for Fort Lauderdale as an ambassador of #Choose954 and founder of the pop-up dining experience group Foodie Freaks. Professionally, he is also an active member of the Realtors of the Palm Beaches and Greater Fort Lauderdale.
It’s all about you, the client, who reminds David daily why he does, and loves, what he does and being a philanthropist to help those affected by cancer.
Aldo Disorbo is a moving expert and entrepreneur based in South Florida, who has owned and operated his moving business for nearly three decades. His company has helped relocate more than 350,000 families throughout the United States. An analytical outlook and hard-work attitude have firmly established him as pioneer in the moving industry. Some of his accolades include development of a proprietary software program suited for the moving industry, designing of a patented moving cube, and his vast real estate development portfolio.
Frances Herrera is a local Interior Design and the founder of BluOcean Interiors. She has been recognized as Woman of The Year in 2015 by the Leukemia Lymphoma Society and Rock Star Philanthropist by Broward General Health in 2017. She’s a dedicated Mother, community leader, philanthropist. Her passions include, traveling abroad, exploring artists, and supporting the local food and fashion culture.
Lorri Lomnitzer is an intellectual property and entertainment law attorney for The Lomnitzer Law Firm. She set up her boutique law firm to cater to businesses, start-ups, inventors, and individuals focusing on intellectual property, entertainment law, and commercial/civil litigation matters. Ms. Lomnitzer previously clerked for the Los Angeles district attorney’s office in the high-tech crimes unit where she handled high technology and intellectual property cases such as unauthorized CD and DVD duplication, identity theft, and high profile trade secret crimes. Ms. Lomnitzer is often selected to be a speaker on intellectual property or entertainment law topics. Ms. Lomnitzer is also a devoted mom and fiancée.
Ms. Lomnitzer has always believed in giving back. She began her efforts in California where she volunteered at a women’s battered shelter assisting those women in handling job interviews, teaching them basic computer skills, and motivated through learning. Ms. Lomnitzer continues her philanthropic efforts by donating on a monthly basis to Shriners Hospitals for Children in order to provide children with the medical care they need. Ms. Lomnitzer also contributes to the Miami Rescue Mission to provide meals on holidays for the homeless and is an avid contributor to breast cancer awareness and research causes.

Yvette moved to South Florida 18 years ago. Originally from New York, she attended the State University of New York at Binghamton. She became a New York State Certified Real Estate Appraiser with a highly respected firm. There, she was recognized as a top Associate Appraiser specializing in Commercial Narrative reports, as well as Residential Property reports. After moving to Coral Springs, Florida, she became President of the Riverside Elementary Parent Teacher Organization. Currently she is the Editor In Chief of Atlantic Ave Magazine, and has been with the publication for 10 years. Yvette is active in numerous causes, including Broward Health Foundation, The PB&J Project and currently serves on the Board of Directors of 211 Broward. She has two wonderful, grown children, Jacob a Police Officer in the City of Miramar, and Gina a Client Account Manager with Brown & Brown Insurance. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling and quiet evenings at home with her boyfriend Bob Birdsong and their four adorable dogs.
Scott Thomas is a native of Bloomingdale, NJ but moved to South FL in 1979 as a Mechanical Contractor. He has owned Tropical Air Systems, Inc . for 32 years located in Coral Springs, servicing the Tri-County area .
Tropical Air is a Daikin Comfort Pro Dealer providing both commercial and residential customers, along with new construction .
As a Grandfather of 3 , Scott has a passion for charities involving children . For the past 16 years, he’s been in charge of the VIP HOG section of the “Toys in the Sun Run” and part of an amazing team that launches this yearly event, benefiting Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital.
He was the Director of Harley Owners Group for 6 years, implementing annual Thanksgiving & Christmas food and toy drives, to families in need . Also organizing amazing motorcycle rides around the United States for over 800 HOG Chapter members .
He has served 3 years as a Crew Leader for Habitat for Humanity/Women’s Build .

Scott’s outside interests include his position as the Team Captain for the Ft. Lauderdale Harley Davidson Precision Drill Team , avid wine collector, cigars, exotic cars, fishing , and those Grand babies !
Scott loves his role as a philanthropist and the opportunity to share his blessings with others . He’s always looking ahead and will often say , "You wouldn’t drive your car looking in your review mirror.....WHY would you live your life like that?"
