At Gilda's Club South Florida, our goal is to improve the health and well-being of people affected by cancer by strengthening their social ties, sense of control, and feelings of hope and meaning. We accomplish this goal through our free evidence-based program of support groups, education, mind/body workshops, social connections, resources, and referrals. Our groups and events give our members the support they need to confront cancer. Our education programs aim to empower people impacted by cancer with the knowledge necessary to take an active role in their path to recovery. Our healthy lifestyle programs are designed to strengthen both body and mind over the course of the cancer journey. We accomplish this goal through our free evidence-based program of support groups, education, mind/body workshops, social connections, resources, and referrals.
